OUR STORY

25 Years in the making, our brand has come about because we didn’t want to sell benefits. As HR professionals who administered benefits for nearly 30 years, we have seen it all. Small business, start-ups, pre-IPO, multinational giants, and everything in-between. We have seen the environment and the world change around benefits spanning a generation of workers and the passing of the Affordable Care Act.

As HR leaders, we were able to steer our employers toward the best plans, choose the best brokers, and recommend sound changes that would save money and boost value. Then, we became consultants, and consultants are not legally allowed to make benefit recommendations without a broker’s license.

So, as experienced and ethical professionals, we made the choice to became licensed group benefit brokers so that we could put our mountains of knowledge and interactive experience to use for clients who are struggling to offer benefits to employees that will actually help them and better the lives of their families.

Now, our network of brokers has grown organixally and we hand pick the most customer-oriented and service-minded health insurance and voluntary benefit brokers that we know. We have worked closely with many helpful brokers the years and we know who delivers the best (and we weed out the worst!).

As you may or may not know, brokers are paid directly by insurance carriers. That means you don’t see any fees come out of your pocket. OUR FOUNDER

Joseph Country has been entrusted by hundreds of New Jersey employers to administer and handle the group benefit and health insurance plans for their employees for close to 30 years. Having created a large network of carriers and brokers, it only made sense for Joe to invent the first HR-run and HR-focused group benefit practice in New Jersey.
